01
Set up
Let the table hold the arm
Support the forearm from wrist to elbow and relax the shoulder. A stable position keeps pressure easy to reduce.
- Use a towel for comfort
- Keep the hand open
- Start without a tool
02
Glide
Work over the muscular areas with a broad hand
Use slow glides and broad circles between the wrist and elbow, staying away from the inner elbow crease and any area that sends symptoms into the hand.
- Use light to moderate pressure
- Do not press on the wrist bones
- Breathe normally
03
Recheck
Compare before and after instead of repeating automatically
Open and close the hand, rotate the palm, and notice whether the area feels calmer, unchanged, or irritated. Stop if symptoms worsen.
- Limit to one short round
- Take a movement break
- Seek care for weakness or persistent numbness
